Took mine to shop today and had Nitrogen checked... under 50lbs in front and under 100 in rear. Dealer says he put them up to 200 lbs each. I still have the "clunk" in front end, but have noticed that the rear has a dirt ring about 1.5" up from the bottom of shaft, front has no dirt ring... so shocks are bottoming out.HOWEVER, when first accelerating in either H or L or when accelerating after coming to a complete stop and applying any throttle greater than the lightest touch you will hear a loud clunk. It sound seemingly comes from inside the engine/transmission although it also sounds like hitting the engine case with a hammer.Walker Evans Shock Clunk on Compression.
